Sailing through Holland

across broad rivers

languidly winding through

celebrating

Welcome

...in our meandering life.

SAIL WITH US

Welcome aboard at Andante Piedro! A ship where you feel at home like a fish in the water. Is it because of cozy rooms with luxurious bathrooms? Is it because of the sun-drenched terrace, where you can drink a cold Italian Pinot Grigio under the parasol while sailing? Is it because of the woolly skipper's dog, who greets you enthusiastically upon entering?

Or maybe it's because of the skipper and skipper's wife, Nanne and Nenette? Who put together a fragrant meal on the sultry summer evening, invite you to the table and are always up for an interesting conversation, a dance or a splash in the water?

At Andante you can discover the Netherlands through the water, exactly in the way that suits you. What does that look like for you?

DID YOU KNOW...
'Andante' is an Italian term from music? It is used as a tempo marker and means 'move on slowly'.

SMALL IS BEAUTIFUL

with 2 guest rooms, a spacious lounge and a lovely deck, there is plenty of room for your personal group.

With a maximum of 4 people you have the realm alone and the water world is at your feet.

CUSTOMIZED PROGRAMS

your wishes and our possibilities always lead to a tailor-made best-fit program. With a lazy deckchair, walking shoe, bicycle and canoe as ingredients, you can vary every day. For example, we make sailing programs of at least 4 days/3 nights.

WE ARE

Nenette and Nanne. We changed course in 2020 and exchanged our sailing houseboat with mooring for a wandering existence on Andante.

THE ROAD TO SUSTAINABILITY

A long way, especially for a historic ship from 1951. Since the spring of 2022, Andante has been completely off-grid with electricity for the sailing season. The entire roof full of solar panels and a thick battery pack provide the total energy supply, including the bow thruster. In addition, meals are organic and with regional products as much as possible.

THE NETHERLANDS AS WATERLAND

The Netherlands is inextricably linked to water. Not only are we famous for our low location below sea level - with a long coastline! Our country also consists of 19% water. Where puddles and lakes lie carelessly scattered. And where rivers, streams and canals meander through the historic city centers and cut through the vast countryside. And on all these waters you will find the typical, free, Dutch boat culture! As skippers in heart and soul, we can tell you: there is no nicer way to explore the Netherlands than from the water!
